District Manager - Sales (Red Bull Energy Drink )
*District Manager *(Bi-lingual in English & French)

Days of work – Monday to Friday (No weekends)
Salary Offered - $60,000 - $70,000 (Above Industry average Remuneration)

*Summary of Position: *
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing the activities of Account Representatives in the assigned district, providing best in class execution and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. The District Manager will manage the performance of the sales team in the district, providing mentoring and coaching as necessary. Other duties include developing selling strategies for the district, handling complex sales queries and customer complaints in a professional manner and acting to close sales as necessary.
*Duties & Responsibilities: *
*Strategic Sales Planning & Mentorship *
* Exemplifying the company culture at all times
* Providing leadership and guidance by participating in setting goals and priorities for team members to achieve weekly and monthly targets aligned with company strategies
* Exemplify and lead district sales team through strong mentorship and communication including but not limited to one-on-one work-with, team conference calls and regular sales meetings
* Lead and manage the execution and compliance of Red Bull Canada programs within the district including but not limited to: National Accounts, Customer Merchandising Agreements, Perfect Store Audit, Market Surveys, Asset Agreements, and Planogram adherence
* Support POS placement and regular deliveries to accounts
* Coaching best in class practices of vehicle loading and inventory management
* Developing and managing strong working relationships with key customers and accounts and address customer concerns in a professional, productive and timely manner
* Manage the performance of team members including recognition, formal review process, coaching and development as well as developing succession plans for high potential team members
* Drive recruitment pipeline for assigned district
* Participate in the selection and on-boarding processes, as well as ongoing training and development of team members
* Providing daily support to the team members in assigned district including route and vacation coverage as required
* Generate and develop business ad hoc reports related to district accounts and activities including but not limited to skipped accounts, service times, closing the sale, etc.
* Ensuring compliance with proper internal policies and procedures as developed by the Sales, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources teams
*Warehouse Management *
* Responsible for operations of assigned district warehouse including but not limited to opening and closing daily, inventory accrual and auditing and sales representative paperwork submission to accounting
* Maintain warehouse floor organization and ensure working conditions/cleanliness aligns with company standards
* Responsible damage case process including expired, damaged, cleaning and repacking of cases regularly
* Monthly expired and damaged reconciliation at assigned warehouse and communicate results to operations coordinator
*Fleet Management *
* Oversee truck working conditions including maintenance protocol and cleanliness aligning with company standards
* Operational support for fleet management including vehicle swaps/transfers and movement of fleet as needed
* Deliver fleet documents as needed i.e. insurance slips and stickers
*Requirements: *
* Bilingual in French and English
* Direct work experience in a people management capacity
* Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning
* Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry with direct, hands on experience with route to market is preferred
* Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
* Ability to examine and re-engineer sales operations, develop and implement new strategies
* Demonstrated ability to lead and direct sales forces, both retail and wholesale
* Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
* Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
* Excellent teamwork and team building skills
* Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with internal departments, key business partners, and customers
* Knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, and budgeting techniques
* Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
* Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
* Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events
