At our latest TalentEgg Talks, we sat down with students and grads from Rogers Communication to talk about their journey from Co-op to full-time!
They shared tips and tricks on applying to co-op and internship positions with Rogers, and the supportive culture that has helped them advance their careers. They all want students to know that Rogers is a place to grow your career and your managers are there to guide you through your transition from co-op placements to entry-level and beyond.
We spoke with Veer Arora and Hannah Tario to learn about their journey as co-op students at Rogers. We were also joined by Emily Maw who shared her journey from a co-op student to a full-time team member as a Campus Coordinator. She discusses the co-op process, what it’s like to work at Rogers and some tips on how to stand out to Rogers recruiters.
A bit about Veer, Hannah and Emily:
Emily was a former Rogers HR co-op student and has now joined the team as a Campus Coordinator. Veer is a Capital Planning Coordinator Co-op Student. This is Veer’s second co-op with Rogers. Hannah is a UI/UX Design and Research Co-op in her 2nd year of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
