Information on Division/Hiring Department/Career Opportunity

The Bell Canada / BCE Controllers group is divided into 4 core areas:  Corporate Bell and BCE, Controls & Compliance, Accounting Services and Business Unit Controllers.  The Business Unit Controllers team is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Controllers organization.  This position is a challenging and fun opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast pace areas of the business.

 

The Administrative Assistant will support multiple (4-5) Directors and will assume responsibility for the administrative aspects of the teams.  This position will require a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter that can demonstrate leadership through creative ideas and solutions. The individual should be highly organized and be able to juggle multiple tasks with and ability to prioritize requests in a fast paced environment.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing meetings and calendars for multiple Directors
  • Managing meeting logistics such as documents and reserving conference rooms etc.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of documents (archiving, filing etc)
  • Providing support for team changes including new hires, transfers, leaves etc.
  • Arranging and organizing travel, expense reports etc,
  • Maintaining vacation records of the teams
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Various other support as required

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills in English & French
  • Attention to detail towards precision and agile judgement
  • Highly resourceful and self starter to manage workload and solve issues
  • Highly organized, ability to handle multiple tasks and leaders
  • Experience in providing assistance at the senior / executive level
  • Able to prioritize with changing requests in a fast pace environment
  • Must be a team player with superior interpersonal skills

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of SAP
