On October 12, 2012, the Internet Archive reached 10 petabytes of data stored in its repository. 25 years ago, I thought building this new library would largely be a technological process, but I was wrong. It turns out that it’s mostly a people process. Crucially, the Internet Archive has been supported by hundreds of organizations.
