Training and growth with Reynolds
Once you begin your Reynolds career, we offer a number of opportunities for you to learn more about Reynolds, our history and our leadership. These opportunities include our New Associate Orientation program, internal training classes, company and team informational meetings, leadership-to-associate exchanges, and associate-focused corporate communications.
The Reynolds Curriculum: Training new hires
Just because you've graduated from college or university doesn't mean your education stops there! But this time, you'll be paid to learn (rather than the other way around)! Reynolds cultivates a continuous learning environment to help employees stay intellectually challenged, self-motivated and professionally rewarded.
These are just some of the ways you’ll keep learning at Reynolds:
You’ll have the opportunity to participate in classroom training programs to build technical knowledge and core competencies such as team behaviours and marketing skills.
Some employees even attend courses at our internal university located at company headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. Course material might include our company, industry, clients (dealerships) and how they function, Reynolds products and the development of job-related skills for success. We even have our own residence accommodations and dining facilities on campus. Hey new grads, sound familiar?
We provide hundreds of e-learning and computer-based training options to allow you to learn at your own pace, place and time. Virtual classes can increase your knowledge of a specific product, process or professional skill, and are attended during work hours.
What better way is there to learn than by shadowing the pros? Much of your job training will be of the hands-on, practical nature, taking place on the job with your co-workers and manager as they show you how it's done.
Grow with us: Opportunities for advancement
Ever heard of starting at the bottom and working your way to the top? At Reynolds, that's exactly what we encourage our employees to do. We hire for entry-level positions and then promote from within the company for higher-level positions.
This means that although you may start in a very junior role at Reynolds, you will be recognized for what you know and how you apply that knowledge to benefit our company and our clients.
