Internship Program

If you've thought about HVAC sales engineering as a full-time career path post-graduation, the Trane Internship Program may be for you.

As an engineering intern with Trane, you'll job shadow with some of the industry's best salespeople, and have hands-on experience with our building solutions from start to finish. You'll do everything from take-offs to customer visits and presentations, giving you a sense of ownership in the solution and a better understanding of the process.

Andrew Stulken - Trane Sales Intern 2014

When Trane hired me as an intern, I didn't really realize how incredible the opportunity being presented to me was. This honestly isn't your typical desk job. To be able to use my technical skills from school while also interacting with others outside of the office is a truly exciting prospect! Sales engineering is simply the best of both worlds.

My internship has been the perfect chance to resolve any questions or concerns I previously had about a career in sales. There is no better way of knowing if this job will be the right fit for you than by working with the rest of the team and getting to see what they do each day. I have already learned so much from this practical education and I am eager to get started in the Graduate Training Program

This 12-week, paid internship gives you a clearer understanding of the HVAC industry, an awareness of the environmental advancements in the industry, an opportunity to strengthen your technical and business skills and insight into one of the most challenging and dynamic career opportunities available for engineering grads today.

Discover what it means to work with one of the world's most innovative, diversified, industrial companies, where progress begins with you.
