Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • Experience or exposure to agribusiness activities and related transactions

  • Exposure to using enterprise business applications such as SAP-GTM, SAP Business Warehouse, or comparable commodity or ERP system
  • Experience with end-user tools - e.g. MS Excel, Word. Lotus Notes
  • Versatility, flexibility, and analytical skills are essential

Job Description:


The Production Support Specialist role will support the local Plant Administration Supervisor and their team to ensure data integrity, by coordinating, collecting, and reporting plant metrics and data and supporting the local management team. Primary responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, daily production data entry into tracking systems and plant spreadsheets, providing accounting inputs for month end accounting closes, and supporting other local plant administrative processes. This position will provide information to the Accounting Hub or support functions such, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The position will report to the local Plant Administration Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the Plant Administration Supervisor by reporting daily production, inventories, and plant Daily Production Wire
  • Ensure the daily production is reported accurately and timely in spreadsheets and systems
  • Reconcile production reporting and inventories in SAP/BW to plant records
  • Administer employee programs including uniform, phone, etc. tracking and reconciliations
  • Provide backup to office reception duties
  • Filing as required within Administration department
  • Month end reporting tasks for Administration and Commercial group
  • Provide office support through cross-training and vacation coverage
  • Coordinate the gathering of documentation requested by various internal/external audit and SOX activities
  • Complete misc. report requirements and respond to ad hoc information requests
  • Assist with special projects, as required
  • Ability to work overtime as requested
