Position Summary
The Supervisor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, training, coaching, motivating, tracking call completions, and managing the merchandising team.

This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
- Travel and/or driving may be required for this job. Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle, unless they are working in an area with public transit.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
1-3 years of experience in retail Merchandising
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Have cosmetic merchandising experience
- Be able to read and follow planograms and assemble store fixtures and displays
- Be organized and detail oriented
- Be a proactive, good problem solver, and possess excellent communication skills
- Have excellent time management skills and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines
- Supervisory and merchandising (reline) experience within a retail store environment is essential.
- Previous experience in understanding and following planograms, assemble fixtures and displays in-store is preferred.
- Experience leading a team

Field / Reps Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
- Although this is a part-time role, there is seasonality to this position. Depending on the time of year, the hours of work may average 15 – 30 hours per week.
- Candidates must be organized, available and flexible to change their schedule to work days, evenings and weekends to provide back up support when needed.
- Part-time hours of work will vary from week to week depending on projects and time of year. This will include Monday to Friday with possible weekend work
- A home office is required with computer/email/Internet access, along with proficient Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Incumbent must have access to a smart phone or digital camera with the ability to email photos
- Typically requires the ability to contribute to completion of project deadlines in field.
- Incumbent must have the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds
